Just when I thought I wasn’t gonna be posting anything leading up to Christmas, I come across this trailer. Hanna stars Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana and Cate Blanchette and looks like its got enough darkness, death and music to choke horse. Looks like elements of Bourne, with La Femme Nikita, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Let the Right One In and… Nell?

Hanna is unleashed on theatres April 9th, 2011.

      Yeah, totally a pleasant surprise. It feels like I’ve read this in a comic book before or something. Really looking forward to the Chemical Brothers doing the soundtrack.

      Welcome to the Film Cynics, Anna!

      Yeah, just when I thought that Eric Bana wasn’t working enough, and that Saoirse Ronan hadn’t found the right role yet, this comes along. Cate Blanchett has yet to turn in a bad performance in anything, so I have full confidence in her keeping up her end of the film too. Great trailer and looks like a very cool movie too.
