I can’t front – I am genuinely impressed with this trailer and the direction this movie appears to be going in. I was just reflecting today on the total disaster and easy sell like Doom wound up being, and thinking that all this box-office envy has blinded movie studios to the point that they don’t understand that it’s not so simple to port a video game to the big screen.
With Max Payne, I think they’ve got something here. Mind you – I’ll admit that when got some kind of hotshot editing team to create their trailers, I was almost fooled. So maybe I’m not taking a big risk and going out on a limb proclaiming that this will be a hit
