Yeah, I’m well aware that the blog looks nothing like the rest of the site, but we’re working on that. For now, I’ve tried to put up as many links back to the main site as possible, even if there isn’t any way to get to the blog from the main site right now anyway.
Somethings to look forward to right now: I just sent off a new request to Sony for some new material to review. While doing so I finally sent off a review for Hudson Hawk for them to look over. It represents the first “sanctioned” review we’ve done and we hope it makes them laugh a little. The review shows Brian and I jousting over whether Hudson Hawk can be regarded as a classic or not. If you ask me, you have to watch it with “soft eyes”… and remember when it was made.
This weekend we’re going to be continuing our solid push to complete our next round of reviews by digitzing our b-roll material for Brian, and then doing our gig on The Buzz on CFAX 1070, then I’m hoping to finally make it to see Wanted. I know it’s been out for a while, but I’ve been pretty wrapped up in a lot of stuff and haven’t exactly been able to take in all the movies I’d like to.
With the early release of Iron Man on DVD, we’re excited at the chance to be able to talk about it some more. Personally, I’m psyched at the chance to watch it again. Seeing a movie in the theatre even once is a major accomplishment, making it out twice is not in the cards.
