To quote a great blogger: I want to rub this trailer all over me. I wasn’t sure that there would be anything the hype machine could offer me that the teaser from a few months back hadn’t already shown me – man did it ever! Perhaps it’s grounded this flight of fancy adventure a little more in the cruel reality – but I suppose that’s gonna be the whole point of the movie.
Sucker Punch will be making your eyes melt in March, 2011.
I’m psyched for this but this trailer made me worry about one thing: Line delivery. Was it just me or did Scott Glenn’s lines sound like he mouthed them and phoned it in later?
I’m willing to give trailers a little lattitude when it comes to those kind of sync issues – although the trailers for Hereafter where they clearly mouthing something other than the line they’d said go too far. I have total confidence that every little lip will be synced and every inflection will be enunciated when it comes to the big screen.
You can’t go wrong with a bunch of attractive girls kicking asses in an action movie. Story? What story?
Yeah, it’s pure ocular heroin – the kind of formula Stallone should have had in mind when he was making The Expendables. Zack Snyder’s just a second level thinker.
That IS a great trailer!
I’ve watched it a bunch of different times with a few different people and I love watching how they just get more and more blown away as the trailer goes on. It’s got game-changer potential – not like Inception or anything, but it’ll get people’s attention.
