Heeeeeere’s Whiplash!Was just too excited to get my hands on this not to share it. Rourke’s got a real Max Cady thing going on here… Maybe Max Cady meets General Grievous or something.
To be honest, I’m still not sure I’m sold on the Mickey Rourke’s comeback, but I think this kind of downtrodden character is the right way to go for him.

I’m guessing Marvel doesn’t want anyone seeing the final suit before the film. These ads might draw in a new S&M market for Iron Man though.
Actually, based on the comicon footage that I regretably caved and took a look at, that pretty much is Whiplash’s suit. At least for the (SPOLER!) racetrack scene (SPOILER!). I have a feeling though that this guy will likely be bankrolled by a rich rival of Stark’s and get a “full suit”, hopefully without the feathery ponytail coming out of the top of his head that I think I remember from the comic books.
