Despite the impressive visuals and completely unique concept, 9′s clear shortcoming was its brief, shallow plot. Still, the visuals were stunning enough to get Steve to waffle on his rating and give it a keeper, while Brian is able to keep a cooler head in evaluating this animated feature that seems to miss both the adult and child age groups.
