Steve also offers up his thoughts on Sherlock Holmes while Brian delivers his thoughts on watching season 1 of The Venture Bros. We then have a look at Steve’s top 5 list for the best animated films of 2009 – some real quality in there. Brian and Steve geek out over their favourite video games of the year and of all time. Finally we break out True Romance (with a special shout-out to Branden at Foolish Blatherings) and Grand Torino from the Vault, and show off the trailers for Inception and 44 Inch Chest.

Brian offers up his Top 5 picks for best new shows of the Fall, then he briefs us on the hubbub over wireless charging platforms. Is inductive charging the wire-free miracle we’ve been waiting for? Our Christmas Vault picks of the week are A Christmas Story and Die Hard, and the trailer drought continues with so-so trailers for Brooklyn’s Finest and Crazy Heart.
