Welcome to the podcast for the modern movie watcher. The Film Cynics were once a pair of surly video store clerks that eventually worked their way into the biz. After bouncing around in the industry for a while, they decided to stay true to the adage of: Those who can’t do, teach. And those who can’t find teaching jobs, create websites so they can spout off about movies and TV and anything in pop culture that catches their short attention spans. In our podcast you’ll be able to tune into our radio show on CFAX 1070.

Besides reviewing the DVD release of Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut, Whip It! The Film Cynics were honoured to have Dylan Fields, aka Fletch, from Blog Cabins and The LAMB join us to talk about movie blogging and giving The Book of Eli a thorough once over. We finally had an official geek out session again as Brian explored web browsers and which one might be the best for you. There was also finally decent crop of trailers to peruse this week so Brian and Steve were happy to present the trailers for Green Zone and MacGruber, and then we broke Josie & The Pussycats and The Mighty Boosh out of the Vault.
