Our Ultimatum? Listen to this, or else!

I was marvelling a few weeks ago over the virtues of being prepared for the show; having notes on everything makes us sound like we actually know what we’re talking about. Well, this week we came in with almost no prep at all – I even forgot my notebook at home today – and it turned out really well. Winging it lead to some really great naturalistic conversation on a whole bunch of topics – and that’s exactly what we strive to cultivate here at the Cynical Corral.

We start out with Brian’s impressions of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, followed by Steve talking about why he likes Cracker so much – which leads into some other interesting bits. We review the DVD release of District 13: Ultimatum – a double Renter. We geek out over headphones and then break Metal: A Headbangers Journey and Brotherhood of the Wolf out of the Vault. All this and the trailers for 8: The Mormon Proposition and Jonah Hex. A great show and a good time.
