No, we don’t talk about Ferris Bueller’s Day Off this week, but we do review Shane Acker’s 9, coming out on DVD this Tuesday. We also have a quick recap on what we thought about Avatar, followed up with a chat about some of our favourite shows that nobody’s actually heard of. Brian then grills Steve about his top 5 Christmas films that aren’t really about Christmas. For Geeking Out this week, we tried something a little different and talked about what 2 pieces of technology in our vast collections we couldn’t live without, and The Cynics each learned something about each other. Finally Steve and Brian break out some New Year’s Eve movies out of the Vault: Strange Days and About a Boy, then discuss new trailers for Kick-Ass and Hot Tub Time Machine.
